Headache During Sex

Headache during sex may indicate a serious problem as it may be caused by a brain haemorrhage. Many patients describe the pain (similar to a sharp blow to the head) as the worst headache they have experienced. Patients should seek urgent medical treatment if they believe they have been hit by this form of headache.
In most cases, sex headaches are thought to be caused by an increase in blood pressure and muscle tension during sexual activity. The sex headache is a rare example of a headache form that is more common in men than among women. It occurs in men between the ages of 18 and 60. Factors that may put a person at greater risk of coital headaches include stress, tiredness and a history of headaches.

Women who are over 40, have recently started an exercise programme or already suffer from migraines or tension headaches are more likely to have coital headaches than most other women. The six weeks immediately after childbirth is also a high-risk time for coital headaches among women.

The good news is that benign coital headaches are usually easy to treat. Some patients report that they can avoid some headache attacks by slowing down their sexual activity and increasing their excitement more gradually. Switching to a less active position or relaxing after sex also often help. Sex headaches often disappear when the patient is under less stress in his or her day-to-day life.

In some cases, and especially among women, sex headaches may reflect the sufferer’s anxiety about her relationship with her partner. In this case, she and her partner should seek relationship counselling.

Healthy Steps

Be Physically Active. Walking briskly, mowing the lawn, dancing, swimming, and bicycling are just a few examples of moderate physical activity. If you are not already physically active, start small and work up to 30 minutes or more of moderate physical activity most days of the week.

Stop smoking. If you do smoke, talk to your doctor about quitting. Your doctor or nurse can help you.

And, you can also help yourself. For tips on how to quit, go to: You Can Quit Smoking Now.

Eat a Healthy Diet. Emphasize fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat milk and milk products; include lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts; and eat foods low in saturated fats, trans fats, cholesterol, salt (sodium), and added sugars. Stay at a Healthy Weight. Balance calories from foods and beverages with calories you burn off by your activities. To prevent gradual weight gain over time, make small decreases in food and beverage calories and increase physical activity.

Skin Care Healthy

Your body is composed mainly of water and it is a necessary component of all the natural processes that occur there. When you drink water it not only hydrates your insides but it hydrates your skin as well. Drinking enough water is also one of the best "diets" for weight loss. You should drink at least eight 8 oz. glasses per day.
Stay out of the sun. The ultraviolet rays of the sun are VERY damaging to your skin. Use sunscreen when you are out in it. Be careful of the reflected rays even if you are in the shade. A moisturizer or foundation containing sunscreen is highly recommended for everyday use. I mean EVERY day.

Get plenty of rest. Think that beauty sleep is just a myth? Think again. Proper rest is very important to your overall health and the health of your skin.

Eat Healthy Foods Simple foods are good for you in a lot of ways. They provide essential nutrients; vitamins, minerals and fiber, and are often lower in calories than processed foods. You know the kinds of foods I mean. Beans, rice, vegetables, yogurt, lean meats-there are many more. Cook with olive oil. Use onions, garlic and other high-mineral foods. Many herbs and spices, besides seasoning your supper, also contain beneficial substances. See my Natural Foods page for more information.

Do some type of exercise regularly. Exercise stimulates your entire system to rid itself of built-up toxins. You don't have to buy a treadmill or join a gym (unless you like that kind of thing). Gardening, playing golf, hiking in the woods, whatever you choose to do to get your blood moving is a step in the right direction. Try parking your car a few blocks away from work. There is no doubt that regular activity will begin to make you feel and look better. Once you are accustomed to the walk you may even begin to look forward to it!

You could take up a sport. Even playing frisbee can provide a good cardiovascular workout. It can also improve your strength and hand/eye coordination. Stretching exercises of all kinds are good for working and flexing your joints and muscles. You can do these anywhere; in the middle of your walk, in your living room or kitchen with a chair, even in bed. So get moving! Once you are hooked on activity you may even have to break out that treadmill for rainy days!

Reduce stress. Easier said than done right? Research has shown that stress is a contributing factor in many health problems. If you are not healthy your skin is not going to look healthy. Take some time out just for you. A luxurious bath is a great stress reliever (Perhaps with some nicely scented oil or salt!). So is relaxing with a good book, a cup of hot Earl Grey tea, watching the sun set, taking a walk, or just sitting and watching birds at a feeder outside your window. Most importantly you must be comfortable with yourself. You have to find happiness in what you are doing RIGHT NOW.

How The Heart Works

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. Almost 2,000 Americans die of heart disease each day. That is one death every 44 seconds. The good news is that the death rate from heart disease has been steadily decreasing. Unfortunately, heart disease still causes sudden death and many people die before even reaching the hospital.

The normal heart is a strong, hard-working pump made of muscle tissue. It's about the size of a person's fist. The heart has four chambers. The upper two chambers are the right artium and left atrium, and the lower two are the right ventricle and left ventricle (see Figure A in diagram). Blood is pumped through the chambers, aided by four heart valves. The valves open and close to let the blood flow in only one direction. The four heart valves are:

Each valve has a set of "flaps" (also called leaflets or cusps). The mitral valve normally has two flaps; the others have three flaps.

Dark bluish blood, low in oxygen, flows back to the heart after circulating through the body. It returns to the heart through veins and enters the right atrium. This chamber empties blood through the tricuspid valve (B) into the right ventricle.

The right ventricle pumps the blood under low pressure through the pulmonary valve into the pulmonary artery. From there the blood goes to the lungs where it gets fresh oxygen (C). After the blood is refreshed with oxygen, it's bright red. Then it returns by the pulmonary veins to the left atrium. From there it passes through the mitral valve (D) and enters the left ventricle.

The left ventricle pumps the red oxygen-rich blood out through the aortic valve into the aorta (E). The aorta takes blood to the body's general circulation. The blood pressure in the left ventricle is the same as the pressure measured in the arm.

Diabetes Food

Diabetes is a disease complex and it is a necessary condition, suffering from diabetes, you have more time to understand the food you eat. You are what you eat and in a serious extent you believe you eat.

When you start to wrong decisions food ensures that the disease is even worse, and this last thing you want to do. It is therefore imperative that you get to eat a healthy diet.

We have to break some food and explain how they can help. Firstly, fibre; fiber is wonderful, because it helps control his blood sugar level. It does so by reducing and limiting the consumption of refined sugar. You can get a lot of fiber from fruit, vegetables, beans, peas and whole grains.

Protein has advantages, because it helps us feel more satisfied, in other words, less hunger. Suppose, for example, that had two dishes, rich in carbohydrates and high protein others, the latter will be more saved.
The bottom line is this protein no longer requires insulin, sugar absorb quickly and that is why you have ups and downs, even if there are dishes from carbohydrates.
That does not mean that you cut out carbohydrates, everything has its place and the body needs at least thirty grams per day. With regard to the proteins do not worry so much food as you like. In order to substantially reduce sugar and eat lots of protein.
Foods containing carbohydrates, bread, pasta and potatoes. We quickly fat, you want to avoid saturated fats derived from milk products, unsaturated fats "OK" in limited quantities. Your best fats are simple.
Finally, the key is balance and understanding that we eat, and there is absolutely indispensable ingredients.

Created Health

Health is created by people’s living conditions and by the framework for people’s lives, such as housing conditions, the working environment, the external environment, food safety and the health services available.

The best way to develop and disseminate efforts to improve public health is by recognizing our responsibility and taking action based on this. Individuals are responsible for their own lives. Everyone has the right to live their lives as they wish: to make their own choices. But people’s choices affect them and may influence other people positively or negatively. Individuals have responsibility for themselves, for their family and friends and for participating in communities.

Communities are everyday contexts in which people participate such as schools, sports clubs, neighbourhoods and workplaces.

People have responsibility for one another in such communities. In communities people help to create each others’ lives. Communities – local social and extended networks – contribute to forming and changing our norms.

This also applies to both positive and negative changes in health behaviour in a broad sense, including lifestyles, environmental behaviour and behaviour related to road traffic. Local social networks, such as the parents of the schoolchildren in one class, neighbours and co-workers, greatly influence how people act.

Communities can support individuals and individual families, but they can also isolate and distance themselves from individuals, such as in bullying at school or mobbing at work.

Personal Cleanliness

Personal cleanliness, like good nutrition, is a health habit which benefits the entire body. You have seen that it is important to the health of your skin, teeth, and hair, and that it is a safeguard against infection. It is also important to your mental health. There is more to cleanliness than having clean skin and hair. You hair should be arranged neatly and attractively. Your clothes, too, should be clean, pressed and comfortable.

It is certainly true that one not only looks better when his body and clothes are fresh and clean, he also feels better. Exercise. You know that in order to be healthy you must have some physical activity daily. The kind of exercise and the amount will depend upon your physical condition and, to some extent, your It will also depend upon other circumstances-for example, whether or not you have companions with whom to do thing. Exercise develops not only the muscles, but other organs of your body as well. From both team games and individual sports you will get a sense of confidence and well-being.

You may have herd people, even high school students, grumble that they do not get enough exercise.

They may give a variety of reasons.Lack of time is one But this is not a good excuse. No matter how busy people are, they have a little leisure time
Some people claim that they have no place in which to exercise. Yet there are generally a number of possibilities, if one looks.Public parks provide tennis courts, riding trails, swimming pools, and skating rinks. There are many recreation centers. Of course, one can always go for a walk.

You probably look younger than your age, but your lie should be believable. And to do that, you have to be very youthful and fresh. Defy the aging process with the following tips.

Change your outfits. Look at the fashion today and see if your clothes resemble the ones you see in magazines, or if they look grandma-ish. What you wear says a lot about you. Since you’re getting a bonus this year, spend some of it on new and trendy clothes. Throw out those mommy jeans.

Work out. All the hip women of today are looking awesome because of their toned abs and arms. Join them by spending a few minutes of your time on a treadmill.

Sport a trendy hairstyle. Finding the right hairstyle will do wonders for your look. Bangs can hide wrinkles. In choosing the right style, consider your face shape and complexion. For best results, go to a pro stylist.

Happy Life

Having a happy life starts with making your surroundings enjoyable and your abode a pleasant place to live in. When we come home from work we want to kick off our shoes and place ourselves in a relaxing state. If your surroundings are messy then it is hard to relax. A clean quiet room is the place to start to relax.

A healthy life does start with a happy life. Let’s face it when one is happy there is no stress and better yet no complications to our lives. We live in a society that is going a hundred miles per hour and seems to never stop to refuel.

After you sit back and are relaxing and feeling calmed from the days work or activities it is time to think of a place that makes you happy. Be it a field of daisies or a swimming pool floating on a raft. Making you feel happy and relaxed is a crucial part to a healthy life.

In a healthy life, relaxing and meditation can be a part of you day, even at work. You can sit back in your chair and think of your relaxing place. At times doing this technique several times a day you will find you are able to deal with the work stresses in a better manner. Becoming irate toward others just makes your day bad as well as theirs.

In conclusion it does not cost you anything to relax and think of a calm place to be. Just take a bit of time in your busy schedule to do this and soon your days will be more at an even keel. You will find that you are calmer when you are faced with hectic problems!

What Healthy Eating Can Do For You

Healthy eating has benefits for just about every facet of your life. Making the right choices when it comes to your food intake can almost have a domino effect on your life as a whole. Substituting unhealthy choices with healthy eating choices can help you to have more energy, which will give you the energy you need to be able to fit in some exercise, which will help you to lose weight, which will help you to feel better about yourself.

How to Make Healthy Eating Choices
The most simplistic method is to choose non fatty foods over fatty foods. Instead of having a candy bar or potato chips for a snack, have your favorite fruits and veggies, instead of making a meal from a box or a frozen dinner, make a healthy salad (takes about the same amount of time to prepare). Instead of having just a cup of coffee for breakfast, throw in some yogurt or a banana. Making healthy eating choices is simply a choice, so make the right one.

It is not as difficult as most of us think to make these healthy eating choices. Many of us believe that making healthy eating choices means never eating “good” food again, however that is not the case.

Start out slow instead of jumping in full force. Cut out one thing that you can live without first. After you and your body have adjusted cut out another.

When you cut out those things that are not the right foods to eat, make sure to replace it with something healthy. Another thing to keep in mind is to eat everything in moderation and not in excess.

Remember that eating is very important. It is easy to fall into the thought process that if you can’t make a healthy eating choice that 'not eating at all' is better than eating something unhealthy. This is not the case at all.

Not eating on a regular basis can cause you to gain weight, experience a lack of energy, and cause a negative impact on your attitude in general. So, if there is no option for a healthy eating choice, at least chose food instead of nothing at all.

When it comes to healthy eating, it can help you in all areas of your life. Make making the right choices a part of your life. Starting out small and working your way up will help to reduce the stress of the process and give you time to enjoy getting on the right track of healthy eating.
